Grade 7 Eagle Bay Camp Out

Planning is already underway for our year-end Grade 7 trip! 

All elementary schools in Merritt will be participating in a field trip to Eagle Bay Camp in Sorrento, BC for three days and two nights (June 10-12). Students will participate in a number of outdoor activities, including archery, swimming, kayaking, a climbing tower, and other great camp activities.

The cost will be $300 per student. This covers the chartered bus, cabin and camp rentals, meals and activities, and the costs for the volunteer supervisors that will be accompanying us ($155 per adult).

The school will subsidize the majority of - if not the entire - cost of the trip for students through our weekly pizza fundraiser, as we did last year. We will notify families if there is a balance to be paid in April 2026. 

Once cabins are assigned to each school, we may reach out to parents/guardians who are interested in attending as supervisors.
